Summary of project activities
The “Integration support system for foreigners staying in the territory of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship” project comes to an end. We are glad that so many of our goals and plans were successful and valuable for our Beneficiaries in the last 12 months. Despite difficult pandemic conditions, we took up various tasks in the field, based on course meetings (language courses), celebrations (e.g. Migrant Day), exchange of experiences (Intercultural Dialogue) as well as leisure and fun (summer camps for children). We’ve also run a website and published our bulletin, which was a reliable database of knowledge about migration. We carried our activities hand in hand with representatives of local institutions and this way we managed to work out the feeling of a common cause and values that dialogue and communication bring about. All of that affects integration, which is our common goal.
The Beneficiaries eagerly used the offered aid and took part in the offered activities. The most common group among them were migrants while there were fewer asylum seekers. The last Polish language course hasn’t ended yet. Soon, we are going to organize an integration meeting before Christmas. The help of a vocational advisor, lawyer, an integration advisor and a cultural advisor is still being offered.
According to our schedule, the project ends in January 2022. We would like to give our thanks and gratitude to migrants and all representatives of institutions that actively help migrants for taking part in the project, and we hope that you have found support and mutual benefit in our activities. We also wish you good luck in completing your plans and realizing your dreams in the upcoming year!
